Happy 100th!! Congrats on an amazing podcast that puts me in the best mood every time. I truly enjoy what you two have to say and best wishes for another 100 episodes!

    Much Aloha!

Can't believe it's been 100 episodes!!! :) That is so cool that you've chosen to share/perform a song (LIVE) on the podcast! Awesome! Still missing the Four Olives gigs and the surprise cover songs that you two would perform there. Speaking of Four Olives, the podcast episode when we all tried Sprinkles cupcakes for the first time after your Four Olives gig was definitely one of my favorites. :)

Yaaay!! Loved the 100th episode...and I have to say it was perfectly time with the time I stepped onto the train this morning and the time I stepped off. It made me laugh (people looked kinda strange at me but, oh well!), it made me reminisce, it made me feel good about my starting my day. So thank you and happy 100th!

About the llamas... there are also alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas. All from the camelid family. All spitters. All prized for their warm, thick wool. And yes, all very cute! And that is my zoology lesson for the day. I knew I took 2 1/2 years of animal science for something! :)

Hey there! Congrats on the 100th despite my tasteless comments on Facebook =;P

I swear if I had money I'd be paying you for all the plugs I get -smile - life of a starving artist - I actually got a little embarrassed when I heard my segment - but thank you!

Big Congrats to Queen - to quote Kathy Griffin: 'I wanted to win so bad, I would've f*cked a donkey for that'...but I didn't win so I will probably buy Daniel/Tia's CD...last episode had me really impressed with what I heard...

Loved the new song - hope to hear more soon...and where's that new album?

Favorite podcast: Disneyland Virgins! Diznoid that I am...of course! And Gay Days at Disneyland fast approaches kick off 10/02/09 but the BIG day is 10/03/09 - will any of you make it? Wear red!

A close second would be when you talked about going to see me at the trailer trash bowling alley here in Lakewood and getting 'outed' at Subway by the young DOT (Dyke of Tomorrow)

Hope to be here for episode 200...

Just finished listening to the podcast...and Holy Crap!! I loved loved LOOOVED the song ya'll did. I've actually never heard it before so just out of curiosity I had to listen to jack johnson's version. I can honestly say that I love S&T's version waaaay more. You guys sounded awesome!

Hope everyone is having a great week! Lataz all.

reCaptcha: Maro scurf....what the hell is "scurf"?? well, let me tell ya (I looked it up..hehe...must be my week to be curious)..it's thin dry scales detached from the epidermis especially in an abnormal skin condition...uckieesss!

OK so I went back and listened to the TEK episode and I have to admit that I fell into that category too... once! My first girlfriend was/is straight. It was just me and after our 10 year relationship she went back to dating guys and is now married with a newborn baby boy. But it wasn't my intention to "turn" her! haha

I loved the song too. I like Jack Johnson and loved your rendition of it. But I must say I LOVED your happy birthday for the 100th episode. Never heard that song sung so beautifully even tho you girls were a little silly. And actually the sound quality was better than when you switched mics. At least I thought so... :) What I'd really like to hear is your version of Love Can Build a Bridge. I love love LOVE that song!!

Hulabaybee...you cracked me up that you actually looked that up. But EEWWW! Yuck! hahaha

So glad you guys are enjoying this ep. And the eps you're bringing up in the comments are bringing back great memories, too! Wow, yeah! Disneyland, Four Olives, Sprinkles...good times :)

Alpacas! Gotta admit, I never heard of those other two.... alpacas. Alright.

Hope everyone's having a good week. Thank you for listening.

Don't usually put down the reCaptcha, but this one's nice:

Hello again! After listening to the 100th podcast a few times - I thought - you know, there's more than a few creative people in the GMG community and some may be too shy to put comments on the board so I thought I should explain more about the greeting card site I use.

The site is: www.greetingcarduniverse.com (abbreviated GCU)

GCU is dedicated soley to greeting cards, no T-shits, mousepads or calendars...they focus on one thing. And the site is open to all artists/photographers...any way you can make an image, set it to their specifications you can have your own online store for free.

My boyfriend has a store of photos though the cards are mainly for his own use whereas mine are to sell to the public but hopefully someone out there will see my work and hire me for other things...I doubt I will make a living off of that site. So if you are a poet, painter, take great pictures...feel free to take part and share your work.

And I don't only have 'gay' cards...there are some more mainstream notes too...drop me a line if you have any questions! All my creative energy seems to be filtering towards the strip but I'm sure I'll add new cards before long...I also want to start painting and hope to get somethings on ebay before the holidays...cross your fingers!

Hey Robert, I just checked out the comic strip VERY cool...such fun and important work. I especially enjoyed "Texting with Friends Part 1." : )

Also, just wanted to add some favorite GMG episodes/moments to the mix...

--KTSP, I loved the Four Olives Sprinkles cup cake "taste off" too. so much fun to hear everyone just hanging out and kickin' it after the show.

--Siena's call out for the discontinued eyebrow pencil. i was so proud to be part of a community that could rally the support! : )

--episode #29 "The Ingredients for Hotness" It was so refreshing to hear hotness conceptualized to include so much more than just the physical.

--the story of how S & T met and fell in love : ). any story where Toast ends up wearing a pink sweater is a good one : )

--the impromptu ending where S & T went through which comic book and cartoon characters are gay...e.g., Batman & Robin, the Smurfs, Peppermint Patty...etc. too funny.

--the episode (not sure the #) on how to be a good parent to yourself.

thank you. thank you. thank you.

ANNNND...loved the LIVE song!!! I was a fan of Jack Johnson's version but think i like this version better. sounded great.

    Happy Weekend all.

I just started uploading stuff to www.greetingcarduniverse.com also. I'm pretty new to it so I only have a couple cards uploaded. We'll see how it goes... :)

Myra: Hey! Glad someone wanted to share their work - let me know your store address =;P

ALO - thanks for the compliments - blush - I was telling the girls about that: Not sure it's 'important' so much as 'fun to do' but I guess it can be both - they had similar comments about their podcast - and I was like 'Of course it's important!' - Thanks for enjoying and I did like Texting pt 1 as well =:)

Thanks A-Lo! Of course, I also loved the "A-Lo's Visit" episode too, in which I was honored to be a part of. :)

By the way, I am enjoying Day 1 of my 6-day vacation on Oahu with a bunch of friends! A close friend of mine is getting married there, and I am one of the groomsmen. Actually writing from Waimanalo right now from a beautiful beach house that the bride and groom had rented for us. :)

    Have a great week everyone!

Oh, the memories that the 100th episode brought back...

    1. Funny how we didn't hear much about Siena's infamous cupcake love.

    2. Many folks from Toast's area in Hawaii seem to dress "dykey".

    3. The infamous "tail" used to cut down on hum when recording.

    4. The episode about holistic healing... just before you two went to Loyola Marymount and ended up sick for weeks on end.

s&t: i played ep 100 in my car and when it got to the live "better together" song with the switch of the mikes, there was a HUGE low frequency component rumbling the inside of my car! i thot the doors were gonna just drop off. anyway, i'll figure out how to cut the song out and filter off that low freq component then re-insert it back into the podcast. it scared the bejeezus outta me! so much for "extraneous noise"...

happy aloha hump day (wednesday) everyone!

    Hi All,

    Ah yeah, da meh-moh-reez, ah?

Thanks so much again for all your comments and participation.

mel - we haven't changed anything about the GMG podcast site and comments...that is def weird. Sorry about the lo Hz hum! :( ! don't know wazzup wit dat. The power in our house is probably "dirty," too. It's a pretty old house...that hum was probably the same one we were combating long long ago with the "tail" Dale mentioned ;)

    Alrighty. Aloha All,
    Toast and Siena, too

s&t: yup, still can't access da comments on my bb. shucks. i was hoping something had changed and that it's not possibly my bb's java settings or something. i go try futz around wit dat. and when i get around to filtering out da low freq component from your live song, i'll send both in mp3 to you so you can compare. i'm not so sure it's you guys, could be the way i burn it to audio CD (i use nero burning rom v6) or the way my DELCO car audio CD player amp interprets it. at any rate, i go try and let you folks know ...later.
